Our Heartsaver First Aid course provides detailed instruction in several lifesaving categories, including:

• First-Aid Basics
• CPR for Adults
• CPR for Children
• CPR for Infants
• Treatment of Common Injuries

During this course, you’ll learn how to perform all components of CPR, including how to clear the airway and how to give rescue breaths and chest compressions. You’ll also receive training in how to treat opioid-related emergencies as well as basic first aid for minor injuries. Upon successful completion of the course, you’ll receive your certification, which is valid for two years. 

Our Basic Life Support course provides instruction in adult and pediatric CPR, ventilation using a barrier device, relief of airway obstruction (choking), proper use of an automated external defibrillator, and the out-of-hospital cardiac chain of survival. Upon successful completion of this course, you’ll receive a completion card that’s valid for two years. 

This course takes up where Basic Life Support training ends. It includes the use of medical techniques and procedures designed for the urgent treatment of cardiac emergencies, stroke, airway management, and team handling of situations such as sudden cardiac arrest. Upon successful completion of our ACLS course, you’ll receive a certificate valid for two years. 

Our PALS coursework prepares you to respond to pediatric emergencies involving shock, respiratory distress, cardiopulmonary problems, and more. Once you’ve successfully completed the program, you’ll receive a PALS completion card valid for two years. 

When you enroll in our FireCard course, you’ll learn basic fire safety and prevention techniques to assist you in the workplace. Our fire safety training includes instruction on how to avoid and react to workplace fires, emergency plans, and safe and effective use of a fire extinguisher. FireCard certification is valid for 1 year.
